The production line ....

.... is in full swing here, 20 Christmas cards done, 30 to go!!

It's WOYWW again, I hadn't joined in for a few months during my timeout, but ta-daaaaaaah - on my desk today are the pieces of Christmas card numbers 21 - 30.:

I really admire people who get started on their Christmas cards in January, and make shed-loads, every one different. I would not be able to do it. I have 50 to make, so I start thinking about the design in August, order the stuff in October, and then have a big making session in November. Every one is identical and I put them together in batches of 10, to save my sanity for as long as possible.  Here's the next batch laid out ready to go: Stamped pieces need to be cut down with a smaller Nestie and inked, round seals to cut out and ink, red patterned paper ready for inking.  And the only thing I forgot to photograph is the big ball of hairy string!!

By this time tomorrow, I'll be more than half way through, thank goodness.  The worst bit is writing the bloomin' things once they're made!!!

Thanks for looking!

P.S. Just marking today as the day my daughter finally got her braces off, after nearly 4 years.  What a difference it makes. We can't stop gazing at her teeth and are freaking her out!!!

I think it would drive me round the bend doing 50 all the same, but it has its merits. Good luck finishing them off.

I've got to say I'm someone who makes lots of cards but mine have to all be different. I hate making even two the same.

Great little cards - I often make a few similar ones but never all the same. Will love to see the finished ones!

Fabulous Christmas cards and I am just like you I have to make them in batches of 10 and I hate the writing bit too. My daughter is hoping to have her brace removed at the end of December so I know how you and your daughter feel. Have a good evening, Tracy Evans x x

Thanks for stopping by. I love the cute little snowman! I think I am too lazy to do 50 cards, LOL. I guess I am just not as dedicated as so many of you out there. Yes seeing the two different holidays is a little weird, but I didn't want my OCS gals to think I had forgotten the. My computer was down for quite some time, and just fixed AGAIN.

Lovely production line of cards.... the worse thing after writing them is then paying for the postage!

I don't mind writing my cards out as I feel I've finished the card then. Love the cute image you are using but I couldn't do 50 of the same, I can send three or four cards to the same house(parents get one and children get one each) so would look a little odd to have them all the same.

I agree Julie - writing them - argh! ANd me too again - if I have to make them the same, I do them in 10's - totally handle-able! Welcome back - how was the time out - refreshing?

Certainly a busy desk here but lots of nice things have been brought out to play with. Thanks for sharing your workspace with us. Best wishes, Kym xxx (WOYWW No 34)

Wow! What a production line!! Your cards are gorgeous!! You could consider typing in a message and then printing it out to save you having to write every single one! (Not as personal I guess) You inspire and amaze me.

I don't enjoy mass production, though it is the most efficient and cost effective way to create. I made 20 of those cupcake cards with my cricut and I was beginning to get a little crazy. Your snowmen are super cute and much more time consuming than my cupcake cards. And I agree, writing them out is the part I dread, but I am so relieved when they are done!
