Where's ....

.... the postman when you want him!!!

I ordered some stuff from a UK site, and it was posted last Friday. NOT HERE YET. Aaaaaghh!

I'm going to a crop on Saturday - and will be working on my Christmas cards. I want to have the choice between some paper I already have and some that's coming in the order.

What are the chances my parcel will arrive tomorrow?

The Wrong....

.... birthday!!

I made this card for a forum friend, whose birthday is today (or so I thought!). When I posted it, I had a fleeting thought that her birthday was closer to Christmas than this, but thought no more about it.

Well, it turns out the list on the forum was wrong - it's 19th December, not November!! Oops!!!

Oh well, better early than late!! And look - it's not 144mm x 144mm!!! How daring!

In a ....

.... bit of a rut, card-making wise, these days!

Made a few this week. Firstly, made this for my cousin and his wife, who had a baby boy:

I made a batch of identical cards (well, save for the names!) to cover the next round of parties DS will go to - here's one:

I can't seem to get away from 144mm x 144mm with a square of patterned paper and stuff on top!!!! I think it's because I've been so busy with other stuff, when it comes to making cards, I haven't had time for experimentation.

Note to self - MAKE MORE TIME!!!

Yikes ....

.... finally started a blog. Now the quandary - what shall I put on it? I think, for the time being at least, this will serve purely as a record of my craft stuff. I mostly make cards, and dabble a bit in scrapbooking.

So where to start .... made a birthday card for nephew today, but it was a rush job and will not be published!!!!

It was DH's birthday also recently, and I broke into my new Basic Grey Granola to make his card. Love that line, the colours are right up my street. Unfortunately, the light was really bad when I photographed it - I promise it looks quite festive (in a manly sort of way!) in real life!
