Sort of the same ....

.... made another card with just words in the middle.  It's a Golden Wedding Anniversary card, and it's also my DT entry for this week's PaperPlay.  Our sponsor this week is Inky Impressions and the challenge is called "Use 2 or more Stamped Images".  Some of the DT girls have done magnificent things with masked and merging.  I just used four stamps from the one set!!  Here's what I made:

Only when I looked at the photos did I realise what a truly disgustingly bad knot I'd tied in the ribbon, but I'd already handed it over so no way to redo.  The stamps are a Papertrey Ink set that my lovely friend Anne brought me from a trip to Cinncinati recently.  I've used two sizes of sunflower, stamped on patterned paper, and then stamped two sizes of centres, cut them out, liberally covered in gold stickles and popped up for dimension.  Here's a closer look:

Recipe:
Papers: Pink Paislee "Queen Bee"
Stamps: Papertrey Ink "Simple Sunflower" set
Ink: Distress Inks
Other: Gold stickles, metallic rub on stuff, Doodlebug brads, ribbon from stash, needle+thread

Thanks for looking!

Baby Card and Big Sister ....

.... Sweetener!!

This started as an entry for the Daring Cardmakers Challenge the week before last, but I didn't finish it in time. The brief was to use lots of green, and I like the combination of soft green and soft peachy-pink.

It's for my cousin, who had a baby girl recently. She has called her Evie and I just love the name.
o

Evie has a big sister, Georgie, and I thought I'd better make something for her, too (to help stave off potential jealousy!). I was at my friend, Liz's, house for a crop on Saturday (thanks, Liz). I had a super-productive day for me - made 1 card, 1 box for putting cupcakes in, and this notebook for Georgie:

It is actually made with identical papers to Evie's card, but the light was obviously not as good when I took the pic!!

At last ....

..... the Christmas stuff!!!

And we're still within the twelve days!! Everyone has finally received what was sent so I can post the lot.

I made these little treat bags, containing yummy strawberries covered with white chocolate, for friends and the children's teachers. Have heard from all who got them that the sweets were all downed in one go - having much guilt heaped on my head for that - Ha Ha!!!!!

I picked up a tiny blank kraft box in Hobbycraft in London when I was there in November. I decorated it to hold a tiny stamp for my friend, Lisa, who is into crafting too. Really pleased with how this turned out, and it was very quick and easy to do too:

And finally, this thank you card went to my forum friend, JeanJeany, who is way too generous!!
