I have to show you this picture of my cheeky cat, Jess, who wouldn't get out of the way while I was taking the picture of my card - she kept jumping on the chair and sniffing the card, thus knocking it over.  So here she is looking evil and about to strike!!

Recipe:
Paper: Glitz "Afternoon Muse"
Stamp: Kraftin' Kimmie "Francesca"
Colouring Medium: Distress Inks
Punch: EK Success "Binding Edge"
Other: Glossy Accents, Dymo label maker

I used the sketch from last week's Deconstructed Sketch and I'm also entering this into the following challenges: Kraftin Kimmie ("It's your birthday"), Daring Cardmakers (colour challenge), Moving along with the Times ("Anything Goes"), Cute Card Thursday ("Signs of Distress") and Simon Says Stamp ("Going Dotty").

Thanks for looking - and enjoy hopping!!

Hooray - a card ....

.... at last. And it's actually the second of the year. The first can't be shown until Thursday, as it's my PaperPlay DT sample for next week's challenge.

I've just re-taken and posted the photo - the light was terrible last night. Not too much better today - but the colours are reasonably true!!

This one covers three challenges:- Firstly, Basic Grey Challenges - it's a colour combo of cream, pink and blue. I've used Eskimo Kisses and Bittersweet papers from BG.

Next, Quixotic Challenges - the challenge is to use lace. I've used my Martha Stewart "Valentine Lace" punch to make "lace" for this card.

And finally, Kraftin Kimmie Stamps Challenge - paper piercing. I've done a lot of that on this card, and also used one of Kimmie's Moonlight Whispers stamps, "Francesca".

Recipe
Papers: BG Eskimo Kisses and Bittersweet
Stamp: Kraftin Kimmie Moonlight Whispers "Francesca"
Colouring Media: Prismas and Pro-markers
Other: Hero Arts flowers, Ranger Glossy Accents, MS punch
Layout: A sketch of Sandie's that was a PaperPlay challenge in Nov. Great sketch, Sandie!

Here's a little close-up of the image and cupcake flowers:

Thanks for looking!

Naughty Girl ....

.... not me, I hasten to add!! Look at my new stamp, it's from a Canadian company called Kraftin Kimmie Stamps. I just love this girl, she looks like she is up to no good!!

Kimmie has a new challenge blog, Kraftin KimmieStamp Challenge Blog, and this week's challenge is called "Merry Christmas, Happy Winter", so I'm entering my card in that.

I've used this week's lovely sketch on Friday Sketchers. I'm also entering it into this fortnight's challenge on Basic Grey Challenges - which is called "Glitz and Bling". I've used BG Periphery, and I've stickled the edges of the image and the snowflake and popped some gems on too.

Sorry the photo is so dark, the weather is so bad here at the moment that skies are always grey. Bad time of year for good photos.

Thanks for looking!
